Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes what information readabilitycheck.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Text you paste into the calculator. Processed entirely in your browser. Not transmitted, stored, or logged.
- Standard server logs. Cloudflare records request metadata (IP, user agent, referrer, timestamps) for security and performance.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SPCSNWCMSK) to understand aggregate site usage — page views, traffic sources, broad geographic region, browser, and device type. Google Analytics sets cookies (typically
_gaand_ga_*) for this purpose. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies and advertising
The site does not set first-party tracking cookies. If third-party advertising (Google AdSense) is enabled in the future, those providers may set cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure ads.
- Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, sign-ups, or email addresses.
- No storage or sharing of pasted text.
- No sale of personal data.
Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
EU / UK / Switzerland (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. Because we do not collect identifying data on our own systems, there is little to act on at our end; to make a request, email the address in the Contact section.
California (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any CCPA right, email the address in the Contact section.
Children
Not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
